Gardaí are investigating after an armed robbery in the capital last night.
At around 8pm, a man armed with a handgun entered a Spar on the South Circular Road and threatened staff.
He made off with on foot with a sum of cash.
No shots were fired and there were no injuries reported.
Gardaí are now reviewing CCTV footage and are appealing anyone with information to contact Kevin Street Garda Station on 01 6669400, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666111 or any garda station.
