A man is being treated for serious injuries to his face after an attack in Lucan.
The 31-year-old was assaulted by four teenagers in the Castle Riada area at half four yesterday afternoon.
He was jumped close to a pub while walking home from work on Tuesday afternoon.
The man was taken to hospital in Blanchardstown for treatment.
No arrests have been made, and Gardai are appealing to speak with witnesses.
