UPDATE: Sean has since been found safe and well.

Gardaí at Kilmainham are appealing for help to track down a missing teenager.

Sean Molony was last seen by his parents at approximately 2.35pm on Saturday when he left his house on the South Circular Road in Dublin 8.

From there it’s believed that he may have taken public transport to the city centre. He failed to return home and his parents have sought Garda assistance to find him.

Sean is described as 5 ft 3 inches in height, with sandy brown hair and green eyes.

When last seen he was wearing a black/green Northface jacket, a black Nike zip hoody and grey tracksuit bottoms. He was also wearing grey/ black Nike runners.

Sean is known to frequent the Bray, Shankhill and Blackrock areas of Dublin, as well as the O’Connell Street area of Dublin.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Kilmainham Garda Station 01-6669700 or the Garda Confidential Line 1800 666 111.
