Gardaí are appealing for witnesses after a man's body was found in a canal in Dublin.
An appeal for information has been made after he was pulled from the Royal Canal yesterday. The discovery was made at around 12.30pm in the afternoon at Ballybough Bridge.
The scene was sealed off and the man's remains were taken to the city morgue for a post mortem. The examination will determine the course of the investigation.
The cause of death and whether foul play was involved is unknown at this stage
