The Supreme Court will this morning hear an appeal case of major significance to Bewley's on Grafton St.
Earlier in the month in The High Court Mr Justice Charleton ruled that the rent payable by Bewley's to the Johnny Ronan controlled Ickendel Limited must be allowed to fall to market reflective rates.
However, Ickendel are asking the Supreme Court to consider this judgement.
Bewley's rent doubled to 1.5 million euro at the last rent review in 2007.
