People are being warned to be cautious of information on anti-psychotic medicines being distributed in Dublin.
The leaflets have been posted through letterboxes by the so-called Citizens Commission on Human Rights.
The group is believed to be linked to the Church of Scientology.
The College of Psychiatrists of Ireland says the information is "inaccurate and potentially harmful".
It has warned the leaflets could cause people unnecessary distress, with serious consequences for themselves and their families.
