The aunt of missing teenager Amy Fitpatrick says she had a very positive meeting with the Tanaiste last night.

It's been 15 years since the Dubliner disappeared in Malaga.

Amy's aunt Christine Kenny, has been calling for Spanish police to upgrade the investigation to 'murder'.

She met with Micheál Martin last night.

She said: ''We just wanted fresh eyes put on the case and hopefully they will come across something that will trigger something. They have contacted Spanish authorities and they are going to contact them again. Something may come out of it.''

She also appealed for anyone with information on the case to come forward: ''There's no need for them to fear. They can do it confidentially. They can ring the guards, they can ring the family. We don't need to know who they are or anything like that. We just need information to find Amy.''
