The Amnesty International Ireland Conference opens in Dublin this morning.
There will be a motion looking for a major cut of 64 thousand Euros in the Chief Executive's salary.
Delegates will be asked if they think Colm O'Gorman's pay of 99 thousand a year should be cut to the average wage of staff, which is 35 thousand Euros.
The motion has been put forward by Amnesty member, Kieran O'Sullivan, who insists that action is needed to restore the publics confidence in the voluntary sector.
