A Dublin councillor has hit out at American rapper Coolio for comparing Ringsend to Compton.
The 'Gangster's Paradise' hit-maker features on Irish duo Versatile's new song 'Escape Wagon'.
In the video, he says "Ringsend the Compton of Europe".
It's something Fine Gael's Danny Byrne has taken offence to according to The Irish Sun. He says its a mis-representation of the area.
Councillor Byrne has invited the rapper to come on a tour of the Dublin village.
Earlier this year Coolio invited the duo on stage during a gig in Leopardstown.
