Ambulance Turnover Too Long At Dublin Hospitals

Almost one in ten ambulances had to wait more than an hour to discharge patients at hospital emergency departments in April.

The HSE target is 20 minutes.

The report by the National Ambulance Service shows in Dublin the Childrens' hospitals had the longest delays.

In Crumlin the average wait was 37 minutes, at Temple Street it was 34 minutes and Beaumont was 33 minutes.
