Gardai say they are investigating a suspected fraud at a credit union in Whitehall.
It's believed up to 400 thousand euro is involved.
This alleged fraud happened at the Larkhill and District Credit Union between 2002 and 2013.
It's believed the credit union has had to refund thousands of euro to members after money was taken from members accounts without their knowledge and children account were tampered with.
Loan repayments were also not debited from borrowings.
Gardai say officers in Santry are investigating financial irregularities at a north Dublin credit union and their investigations are continuing.
