People can apply for the homes from June, with 44 one-bedroom and 22 two-bedroom apartments available as part of the first phase.
The redevelopment is part of a partnership between Dublin City Council and Bartra to deliver 1,044 new homes at the site.
Cabins
Elsewhere its emerged the rules on cabins in back gardens could be relaxed in a bid to tackle the housing crisis.
The Department of Housing is considering exemptions that would mean the free-standing structures wouldn't need planning permission.
The aim is to allow younger and older generations stay in their area, living between the main house and a smaller home.
It's thought size limits would apply and a certain amount of space would be needed.
