Aer Lingus has withdrawn staff travel privileges from cabin crew involved in last Friday's strike.

Members of the IMPACT trade union have been told they no longer have the ability to book flights at a discounted rate.

Workers have also been told they'll be docked a day's pay for participating in the strike, which followed a dispute over rostering arrangements for cabin crew.

The union has declined to comment on the move ahead of another meeting with Aer Lingus management tomorrow.

Industry Correspondent with the Irish Times Martin Wall says the timing of the move is significant.
