It looks like workers at Aer Lingus and the DAA may go on strike in the run up to Paddy's Day and during the Rugby Internationals.
SIPTU members at both companies are set to ballot on Monday on industrial action in a row over pensions.
If a strike goes ahead, the action could close Dublin Airport during one of the city's busiest weeks.
