Gardai in Leitrim are investigating a fatal road collision which has claimed the life of woman in her 60s.
The woman, was seriously injured when she was struck by a car shortly after 5pm on the outskirts of Mohill Village.
She was taken by ambulance to Sligo General Hospital where she was pronounced dead.
The driver of the car was uninjured.
The road remained closed to traffic overnight and local diversions are in place.
