Gardai are appealing for witnesses after a 23 year old man was stabbed in the abdomen.
It happened at around 6pm yesterday amid Christmas shoppers and commuters on North Earl Street.
The victim was rushed to hospital where's in a serious but stable condition.
A 19 year old man has been arrested in connection with the attack and he can be held for up to 24 hours.
Gardai are asking any witnesses to get in touch with them at Store Street Garda Station.
