Nine people have been arrested in connection with the Dublin riots last year.
Ten searches were carried out earlier today by Gardaí at Store Street as part of the investigation into the violence that erupted in the city centre on November 23rd.
Eight men and one woman have been detained following the raids at a number of locations across the city. They are being held at garda stations in the Dublin Metropolitan Region and can be questioned for up to 24 hours.
It brings the total number of people arrested as part of the case to 49.
Gardaí are continuing to appeal to anyone with information about the events on that day, that saw shops looted, gardaí injured and buses and a luas set alight, to come forward.
