There have been another 8,815 new cases of COVID-19 reported in Ireland today.
That breaks down as 4,160 PCR-confirmed cases, along with 4,655 positive antigen test results reported through the HSE portal.
The five-day moving average of new COVID cases is now 8,570 - down from 9,015 yesterday.
As of 8am this morning, there were 635 people with COVID-19 in Irish hospitals - down from 665 yesterday.
The number of patients in ICU has also fallen, from 67 yesterday to 63 today.
