80 tonnes of rubbish was cleared up by council officials in just one area of Finglas last week.
Fingal County Council carried out the clean-up operation at Dunsink Lane and removed the massive pile of waste containing children’s toys, furniture and drums.
The area is close to the M50 and has long been a spot favoured by fly-tippers.
The council has advised residents to be wary of "man in a van" type disposal services, which don't comply with the National Waste Collection Permit Office.
