Gardaí have arrested eight people in connection with a spate of robberies on the south side.
The arrests were made in Tallaght and Wicklow as part of Operation Acer which has involved officers from the Detective, Crime Task Force and Drugs Units.
It was part of their efforts to combat burglaries in the Dun Laoghaire, Blackrock, Dundrum and Cabinteely areas.
This morning, they searched homes in Tallaght and Wicklow and arrested seven men aged between 19 and 23 as well as a 21 year old woman.
As part of the operation to date, Gardaí have recovered jewellery, clothes, computers and electronics and a car.
Two of the men and the 21 year old woman were arrested on foot of bench warrants and are appearing in Dun Laoghaire and Tallaght District Courts this morning.
The remainder are being questioned at Dun Laoghaire, Dundrum and Blackrock Garda stations and can be held for up to 24 hours.
