Six men and a woman have appeared in court charged with the murder of Dale Creighton in Tallaght last January.
The 20 year old died after a serious assault at a footbridge on Saint Dominic's Road on New Year's Day.
20 year old Aisling Burke of Bolbrook Grove, Tallaght was the first to appear at the District Court this morning, charged with the murder of Dale Creighton.
Also charged with murder are Graham Palmer of Homelawn Rd, Ross Callery of Westpark, David Burke of Village Square, James Reid of Homelawn Avenue, all in Tallaght.
Jason Beresford who was arrested in Finglas and Gerard Stephens who was picked up by gardai in Kildare this morning.
All had previously been detained on less serious charges arising from the New Year's Day attack.
There was garda evidence the 7 made no reply to the murder charge.
All are in their twenties and have been remanded in custody to appear in court next Wednesday.
A seventh man 21 year old James O' Brien of Avonbeg Drive, Tallaght has been charged with assault causing harm to Dale Creighton.
Gardai say they will object to bail when he makes that application at some stage today.
