60-thousand new jobs in the construction industry by the year 2020.
That's what the Government's just promised in a bid to kick start the building trade.
They hope their plans will get builders off the dole and provide plenty of new homes for first time buyers.
Enda Kenny's denied the moves will create another housing bubble:
“I do not accept anybodies assertions that this Government is going to go down the road of creating a further housing bubble. There are a hundred thousand people on the live register who were involved in the construction industry. Plasterers, block-layers, chippies, tillers, roofers and everything else – we want to see that these people get an opportunity to get back into the world of work.”
