Two men are in custody and Gardaí are waiting to question three others after a high-speed chase through Meath and Kildare last night.
Officers investigating criminal activity in the Leinster area intercepted a Jeep in Meath.
However, it failed to stop resulting in a high-speed chase which came to an end when the vehicle crashed on the Newbridge Road in Naas at around 8pm.
Five men were arrested at the scene. Two of them, aged in their 20's, are being held at Naas Garda Station.
Three others, aged in their late teens, 20s and 40s, were hospitalised with non-life-threatening injuries.
Gardaí say investigations are ongoing.
