Three people have been hospitalised after being rescued from the River Liffey in Dublin.
One man was in the water at Wellington Quay shortly before 5pm yesterday evening, when two others entered the Liffey to help.
Firefighters and one of our rescue boats responded to a water rescue this evening after numerous 999 calls

One person was rescued by the Dublin Fire Birgade boat, while the others were helped to safety from the quay side.
All three were taken to hospital but none of them sustained life threatening injuries.
