Dublin Fire Brigade is getting 25 new recruits.
Their passing out parade take place in Marino today.
The last Passing-Out Parade took place in November 2009.
25 Dublin fire brigade recruits who have successfully completed their training will take part in the ceremony later this afternoon.
The recruits have undergone a rigorous 27 weeks training programme divided into 17 weeks of fire and rescue skills and 10 weeks of paramedic training.
It comes as the controversy surrounding ambulance provision for Dublin rolls on.
