200 new job will be created in Dublin over the next 3 years.

Cloud applications company "Workday" is to double the size of its European headquarters in the capital over the next three years.

Recruitment for these new positions is currently underway.

Workday, which is based in California, employs 2,900 people around the world, 200 of whom are based at its European Headquarters in Dublin.

They company now wants to double their Irish workforce over the next three years.

Workday is a leading provider of enterprise cloud applications for human resources and finance.

It delivers human capital management, financial management, and analytics applications designed for the world’s largest organisations.

Taoiseach Enda Kenny welcomed the announcement as he continues an IDA trade mission to San Francisco and Silicon Valley.

He said "Winning international investment in areas like the high growth technology sector is essential to our recovery plan and a testament to our exceptionally talented workforce".
