A 19 year old male pedestrian has died after he was struck by a car in county Louth yesterday evening.
The incident happened around 5 miles north of Drogheda at approximately 8.30 yesterday evening.
Motorists are advised the Old Dundalk-to-Dublin Rd has now re-opened and earlier diversions have been lifted.
Anyone who witnessed the incident is asked to contact Drogheda Garda Station.
