Over 18 hundred jobs are to be created at new technology companies.
The positions at 122 firms will be created over the next three years as part of an Enterprise Ireland "High Potential Start Ups" scheme.
It will see 1850 new jobs come on stream across the country.
Each of the companies are described as export-driven and based on technological innovations.
Enterprise Ireland says it hopes the companies will grow "rapidly" and stimulate local economies and create more jobs in the years ahead.
The Jobs Minister says it's a part of a determination to boost the employment market with Irish enterprise and not just multinational companies.
More details on the positions are expected to be announced by Minister Richard Bruton at the official launch.
