Instagram has changed the way users scroll through their feed.
Rather than scrolling up and down, you now have to scroll side to side.
The update is causing quite the stir online this afternoon.
There's been mainly outrage as users were greeted with the message 'Introducing a new way to move through posts. Tap through posts, just like you tap through stories.'
There is no way of reversing the change.
