The singer was performing at the Strictly Come Dancing live final last Saturday when he made the announcement.
“It’s going to be spectacular, I love Eurovision so much, it’s a dream come true.”
He couldn’t give too much away when he was asked what kind of song we can expect!
“I mean, it wasn’t gonna be a ballad. Or maybe it could have been a ballad. I love a ballad. Am I saying too much now? It’s not a ballad.” the Years and Years singer revealed in an interview with the BBC.
“I wrote the song with Danny Harle, and it’ll be coming next year. And it’s really good” he added.
He did promise that it’ll be a bop though!
“It’s gonna be electronic, something you can dance to. But yeah, I can’t say much more than that.”
Roll on May 2024!
