The closest we are getting to a Spice Girls reunion for now!
Emma Bunton and Mel B are joining forces once again to star on a new K-pop TV series for Apple TV+. They reportedly flew to Seoul in November last year to take part in a reality show, collaborating with K-pop idols.
KPOPPED is an all-new eight-episode song battle series from executive producer Lionel Richie, starring PSY, the international chart-topper who helped bring K-pop to the world with his global sensation “Gangnam Style,” and three-time Grammy award-winning superstar and executive producer Megan Thee Stallion, who also performs her hit song “Savage.”

The format sees western music legends reimagine one of their biggest hits, collaborating with top-tier K-pop idols to deliver spectacular battle performances, with a live audience picking the winner of the best new K-popped song.
And now The Sun has claimed that the show's star-power is even more off the chart, with Emma and Mel, both 49, also starring, as well as fellow Brit Boy George.

A music insider told The Sun: 'A Spice Girls reunion is a way off. So having Emma and Mel back on stage singing a Spice Girls song together might be the closest fans get to a comeback, even though it will be with K-pop stars rather than Geri Horner, Melanie C and Victoria Beckham.
'They flew to South Korea at the end of last year and were on set for quite a few days as they battled it out with other pop veterans.
'With them alone on board, it is a big show. But there’s also Boy George and loads of other chart-topping stars, which will be enough to encourage people to tune in.'
'KPOPPED' is set to air later this year on Apple TV+.
