We have another music copying lawsuit on our hands!

Miley Cyrus’s hit Flowers is being sued over allegedly copying Bruno Mars’ 2013 hit When I Was Your Man.

The singer is being sued for copyright infringement by Tempo Music Investments, a company who claims to have a share in the copyright of Bruno’s song.

Details of the lawsuit were obtained by entertainment outlet TMZ, in which Tempo Music claims there are so many musical similarities between Miley's Flowers and Bruno's When I Was Your Man that Miley had to be “intentionally copying" Bruno.

The company claims the melody, harmony and chorus in Flowers are significantly similar to the verse in When I Was Your Man. They allege that Flowers also copies the chord progressions and mirrors some of the lyrics.

Bruno Mars himself is not involved in the lawsuit but Tempo Music are going as far to want Miley barred from performing Flowers ever again.

What do you think? Have a listen to the two songs below and see if you can hear similarities.
