Mark Feehily had some sad news to share with his fans yesterday.
The singer took to his Instagram to announce he had to “stand down” from Westlife gigs for the foreseeable over concerns for his health.
He says it is with the “utmost regret” that he won’t be able to join the band as they embark on their first ever tour of the US next month.

“It is with the upmost level of regret that I must now temporarily stand down from all Westlife touring until a time that I have had the chance to fully recover from the turbulent journey I have been through as an individual, ” the singer wrote in a statement posted to his Instagram account.
He thanked his fans for their support and understanding as well as his friends and family “daily motivation and inspiration”.
"To Shane, Kian and Nicky, I love you three and I know you'll knock it out of the park. I'll be there with you in spirit for each and every show whilst you continue to fly the Westlife flag around the world.”
We hope he takes the time he needs to fully recover and get back to his old self!
