It truly was another time!

A new documentary following the journey of Boyzone is coming to Sky, examining the rise and success of boybands in the 90s.

The premiere for Boyzone: No Matter What took place at The Stella Cinema in Rathmines last night, with three former members present: Keith Duffy, Ronan Keating and Shane Lynch.

Our entertainment reporter Shannon Keenan was there on the night to ask the boys some burning questions. Firstly, would Boyzone ever go on tour again?

“Absolutely,” Keith Duffy said.

"Listen I'm very busy, I'm touring at the moment with Brian McFadden. We've been doing it for 9 years now and we have a great little thing going."

"But to get the opportunity to stand on stage again with Ronan and Shane and do Boyzone one last time for the fans - I would absolutely do it yeah.

Speaking about boyband culture as a whole, Keith Duffy spoke about Boyzone “laying the groundwork” for Westlife.

"Louis Walsh is very clever. While we were touring Asia he put Westlife together."

"Their first gig was on our sold arena tour," the singer continued, "So they had a ready made audience."

"And in fairness to the boys they've worked really hard and they've stood the test of time, they're still huge today. But we did have to do the groundwork for everybody."

Boyzone: No Matter What will be available to watch on Sky Documentaries on Sunday 2nd of February.
