The UK music charts have confirmed that James Blunt wonā€™t have to change his name following the dramatic promise he made to fans.

The British singer re-released his album Back To Bedlam to celebrate its 20th anniversary, and told fans in a social media video that if it reached No.1, he would legally change his name to the most popular suggestion from the general public.

With names like ā€˜Blunty McBluntfaceā€™ and ā€œBlames Juntā€ being among the most popular suggestions, weā€™re sure heā€™s never been more relieved not to make No. 1!
