The relief 😂

The UK music charts have confirmed that James Blunt won’t have to change his name following the dramatic promise he made to fans.

The British singer re-released his album Back To Bedlam to celebrate its 20th anniversary, and told fans in a social media video that if it reached No.1, he would legally change his name to the most popular suggestion from the general public.

It looks like he’s off the hook though as the UK Official Music Charts have confirmed that the re-release of Back To Bedlam has charted at No.7.

James took to social media again to show his reaction to not having to change his name.

With names like ‘Blunty McBluntface’ and “Blames Junt” being among the most popular suggestions, we’re sure he’s never been more relieved not to make No. 1!
