Erica Cody could be representing us at Eurovision in 2024!
The Dubliner broke the exciting news when she was on the Ray D’Arcy show on RTÉ Radio 1 on Monday.
She’s the first person to announce their Eurovision bid to represent Ireland in Malmö in May, with her original song “Love Me Like I Do”.

“I always thought that I’d be representing my country with a basketball jersey on my back, but that was cut short due to injury which was the catalyst for me to really pursue music.” Erica said to Ray D’Arcy after breaking the news.
“So, to be able to represent Ireland doing the one thing I love the most (music) and have now made my career not only would be an honour but a huge full circle moment.”
While Erica is the to announce her Eurovision 2024 entry, there will be 5 more in the running, due to be announced on the Ray D’Arcy show this week.
The six contestants will compete on The Late Late Eurosong Special on Friday the 26th of January. to determine who will go on to represent Ireland in Sweden in May.
