A court has heard a homeless man with cerebral palsy, who was stabbed 183 times, was harmless and never bothered anyone.

20 year old Philip Dunbar of Glenshane Drive in Tallaght, Dublin denies murdering 23 year old Adam Muldoon in a park in Jobstown.

Paul Duggan gave evidence to the jury today about the deceased Mr Muldoon, who went by the nickname Floater.

He said the 23 year old had been homeless, and everyone in the community would help him out – he was nice, respected and everyone liked him.

He said on June 22nd 2018 he was chilling out with the deceased, accused and several others and were smoking weed.

He said Adam was complaining about pain in his legs and had nowhere to stay so he rang an ambulance for him - but later got a phone call from the ambulance saying Adam wasn’t there.

Paul Duggan said he looked outside his house and said Adam and the accused Philip Dunbar weren’t there but Adam’s zimmer frame was.

He agreed in cross examination that the accused would help Adam out and they didn’t have any problems– saying ‘I can’t say anything bad’ - ‘I never knew any of this could happen’ .
