The first trailer for a live-action version of 'The Little Mermaid' has been released.
The film - based on the Hans Christian Andersen fairytale - isn't made by Disney so it doesn't feature Ariel, Flounder or Sebastian.
This reimagining stars Loreto Peralta, William Moseley, Poppy Drayton, Gina Gershon and Shirley MacLaine and tells the story of Cam - a reporter who travels to a small town in Mississippi to find a woman believed to be a mermaid who is part of a circus.

Disney's latest live action remake, 'Beauty and the Beast' , hits cinemas on March 17th. It's reported the studio is also planning to release its own live action remake of 'The Little Mermaid'.
