The first trailer for the 'Beaches' remake has been released. Idina Menzel and Nia Long star as lifelong best friends in the Lifetime movie.
In the clip, the pair meet as children before we see them as adults, with Menzel taking on the role of C.C., an aspiring singer originally played by Better Miller.
The film will air on January 21st.
'Beaches' was originally released in 1988 and also starred Barbara Hershey as Hillary, a lawyer and C.C's supportive oldest friend.
