The first trailer for the Tomb Raider remake has landed. Alicia Vikander plays the legendary Lara Croft in the reboot.
The archaeologist-adventurer was previously portrayed by Angelina Jolie.
Speaking recently to Entertainment Weekly about playing Croft, Vikander said, "she has all the fierce, tough, curious, intelligent traits. But we've stripped away all of her experience. She hasn't gone on an adventure just yet."
In the film, Lara - the fiercely independent daughter of a missing adventurer - must push herself beyond her limits when she finds herself on the island where her father disappeared.
Tomb Raider will land in cinemas on Friday, March 16, 2018.
