Earlier this month Warner Bros announced they were making a change in their strategy and binned the 90 million dollar 'Batgirl', movie that stars the likes of Leslie Grace and Brendan Fraser, even though the movie was pretty much finished in the post production process. The change in the company also sees the cancellation of what was the upcoming movie 'Scoob!'
The Hollywood Reporter revealed news that the "funeral screenings" will be held just before the film is set to be locked away in a vault never to be shown to the eyes of the public 👀 👀

Leslie Grace who was suppose to play the caped crusader in the movie posted a photo to instagram in her Batgirl costume with the caption: Querida familia! On the heels of the recent news about our movie “Batgirl,” I am proud of the love, hard work and intention all of our incredible cast and tireless crew put into this film over 7 months in Scotland. I feel blessed to have worked among absolute greats and forged relationships for a lifetime in the process! To every Batgirl fan - THANK YOU for the love and belief, allowing me to take on the cape and become, as Babs said best, “my own damn hero!”
#Batgirl for life! 🦇
Directors of Batgirl Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah also spoke out on its cancellation saying: “The guys from Warners told us it was not a talent problem from our part or the actress, or even the quality of the movie,” said El Arbi. “They told us it was a strategic change. There was new management, and they wanted to save some money.”
