It’s been reported that shooting for the Trainspotting sequel will begin in January in Scotland. It's been 20 years since the first movie was released.
Ewan McGregor will reportedly reprise his role as Mark Renton after he confirmed that he would be interested in the sequel at the Edinburgh Film Festival.
Rumour has it Ewan had initially said he had no interest in the movie as he had fallen out with director Danny Boyle. They worked together on three movies, 'Shallow Grave' in 1994, 'Trainspotting' in 1996 and 'A Life Less Ordinary' in 1997 but then Danny chose Leonardo DiCaprio for his movie 'The Beach' instead of Ewan.
We'll keep you posted when we get confirmation of the sequel going into production.
