Ariana Grande has good news for Wicked fans...
The singer revealed on her Instagram that the highly anticipated movie adaption of the musical will be coming to theatres a month earlier than expected.
The Wicked movie, in which Ariana plays Glinda the Good Witch, was initially hailed for a Christmas Day release in 2024, has now been given the release date of November 27th 2024.
Still a lengthy enough wait if you ask us!
The Wicked movie, like many blockbusters of the last decade, is actually being split into 2 parts. So we'll have the first installment Wicked: Part One at the end of next year, we'll have another one to look forward to after that (probably in another 3 years 😂)

Director Jon M. Chu explained the decision to move the film's debut up a month from its original Christmas release date.
"We are deep into production on WICKED and everyday we get more and more excited to share with u the mischief we've been up to," he tweeted "So…We've decided to get it to you all a little earlier than planned. OUR NEW RELEASE Date is NOV 27th 2024! A little Thanksgiving treat!"
While Ariana is the biggest name in the cast line-up, there's also some pretty big stars joining her on the screen as well for this magical adaptation! Elphaba will be played by Cynthia Erivo, while big names like Michelle Yeoh, Jeff Goldblum and Jonathan Bailey also star.
