Earlier this year, Fey confirmed that Mean Girls the Musical was finally in development.

'Mean Girls', starring Lindsay Lohan, Rachel McAdams, Lizzy Caplan, Lacey Chabert, Amanda Seyfried and Fey is one of the most successful high-school movies of all time.
