It’s reported Saoirse Ronan has been cast as the lead in ‘On Chesil Beach’, based on the 2007 novel by Ian McEwan.
Saoirse will apparently play the lead role of Florence in the film, which tells the story of a young married couple who come from completely different backgrounds.
On Chesil Beach, which will be directed by Dominic Cooke, is expected to shoot in the Autumn.
Saoirse is nominated for an award at this month's Oscars. She's up for Best Actress for her role in Brooklyn. The 88th Academy Awards take place in Hollywood on February 28th.
