Stars of the new animated film 'Kahlil Gibran's The Prophet' showed up to the film's LA premiere last night.
Actress Salma Hayek, best known for Frida and Puss in Boots, brought her daughter to the premiere.
Hayek's co-star Alfred Molina was among those on the carpet. He says her career has been held back because she's a woman:
"If she'd have been male and white, she'd have been bigger than Harvey Weinstein. And I heard Harvey Weinstein wasn't too pleased with that but I'm sure he understood."
The film is based on the book of the same name, focusing on the essays written by Lebanese artist and writer Kahlil Gibran.
From the trailer, the film looks to be beautifully animated.
The Prophet will reach Irish screens this August.
