Coming from Barbie, one of the summer’s biggest blockbusters, ‘I’m Just Ken’ has been nominated for Best Original Song and Ryan himself is up for Best Supporting Actor.
The track was written and produced by Mark Ronson, who also worked with Dua Lipa to create the other big song from Barbie ‘Dance The Night Away’
Whether Ryan Gosling would perform at The Oscars has been speculated for a while now, as traditionally the songs up for Best Original Song are performed live, but not always sung by the original performer.
“It might be too much of a risk to have me do it,” Ryan Gosling told Variety when they asked him about the possibility of performing, “I don’t know how that would work. But I’m open to it.”
