Russell Crowe isn’t sure how to feel about the new Gladiator movie.
The Australian actor revealed in a recent interview that the making of Gladiator 2 has him a bit “uncomfortable”.
“I’m slightly uncomfortable with the fact they’re making another one — because, of course, I’m dead and I have no say in what gets done," Russell said on Kyle Meredith With...
"But a couple of the things I’ve heard I’m like, ‘No, no, no, that’s not in the moral journey of that particular character’. But I can’t say anything, it’s not my place, I’m six foot under. So we’ll see what that is like.”
Crowe played Roman general Maximus in the Ridley Scott epic back in 2000, but he assured audiences that he is confident the movie will be done well with the same director at the helm.
And he admitted a small bit of jealousy might play a part!
“This is just me being purely honest: there’s definitely a tinge of melancholy, a tinge of jealousy. I remember when I had tendons.”
We understand it can be quite hard letting go sometimes ?
