Richard Osman has revealed 3 exciting actors who have been cast in Thursday Murder Club, an upcoming film based on his best selling book.

The former Pointless presenter wrote his debut novel back in 2021 and has gone on to write 3 more successful books since.
Thursday Murder Club follows the retired residents of a sleepy English village who find themselves swept up in a murder mystery and band together to solve the case themselves.
There are 4 leads in the novel, Elizabeth Best, an ex-spy, Joyce Meadowcroft, a former nurse, ex-psychiatrist Ibrahim Arif and former union activist Ron Ritchie.
Richard Osman has revealed that 3 out of the 4 have been cast. And they’re all exciting names!
Helen Mirren has been cast as Elizabeth, Pierce Brosnan will play Ron and Ben Kinsley will play Ibrahim.

Revealing all these updates on the podcast The Rest Is Entertainment, Richard Osman revealed they’re still in negotiations for who will play Joyce, the 4th lead.
He also revealed that the movie will be directed by Chris Columbus, whose works include Home Alone 1 & 2 and the first two Harry Potter films.
