The Irish are doing well in Hollywood these days aren't they?
Paul Mescal & Andrew Scott are set to play lovers in a new film called 'Strangers'.
The film will be directed by critically acclaimed and openly gay filmmaker Andrew Haigh.
Haigh will be adapting the film from an award-winning 1987 Japanese novel of the same name, written by Taichi Yamada.
The story follows a screenwriter called Andrew (Andrew Scott) who begins a passionate romantic relationship with his mysterious neighbour Harry (Paul Mescal).
It's being described as "a tale about grief, existential loneliness, and unending longing for human connection".

Claire Foy (The Crown) and Jamie Bell (Rocketman) have also signed on to play parts in the film.
While the film doesn't have a release date yet, it has been confirmed that filming has wrapped on this one.
Paul Mescal is currently starring in Aftersun, a movie that is getting incredible reviews at the moment.
No doubt himself and Andrew Scott are going to shine in this emotional drama and continue to make us proud!
